The Amaryllis Opening

Today I have another blog to do with my Amaryllis. I took photos over the last week as my Amaryllis was opening, basically to show you how it slowly opens up. Once it is fully opens I will have a final Image for you. It is always fun to see such a showy  flower opening and so sad to see it finally fade when it is finished blooming, but that won’t be for another 2 weeks. Here is the series of photos that I took for all of you to see. I hope you all will enjoy the photos.

           Slowly opening 2 opening together

3 the blooms are getting bigger

  7. I just had a setback this morning, my mother Amaryllis plants 2 flower stalks, had fallen over. The flowers are to heavy for the stalks. I pulled them back up, they did not break so I may still get them to fully bloom, cross my fingers. They are propped up right now. Last year the stalks broke off.

  9. Beautiful photos perfectly timed as we step into March and spring is ever closer. Refreshing to see the greenery of plantlife coming to life in this way. I hope your fallen ones are none the worse for their experience and bloom in all their glory :)
