I went through some of my photos of the Amaryllis, and thought why not try more different stuff, You may or may not like what I have created but that’s ok, I am experimenting. It is a lot of fun to try different things. It also let’s me learn what works and what doesn’t . Here are some photos.
The photos are all perfect. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE what you've done with these images!! Fine ART! And your header shot is AMAZING as well :)
ReplyDeleteCan you share the type of processing you are using on these to get them like this?
These are beautiful Horst.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the second one.
Hi Kerri, these are all done in Adobe photoshop CS3. I have used several layers, and used a watercolor brush. The rest you will have to figure out on your own. It is actually a very simple process.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved them especially the background on the one at the top,and the one below looks so fresh. A good job Horst.
ReplyDeleteI do wish I had time to do things like this, but i've just finished a painting commission, and that takes up most of my free time.
I do hope you are getting paid for your paintings. It is a lot of work to do those paintings, and I'm sure that takes up alot of your time. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI think these are wonderful...artful. have you considered adding a how to page for us beginners?
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy, do you mean a how to photoshop page, or a how to flower page?
ReplyDeleteO, Horst, the artwork is just so beautiful! I'm speechless ... again ... your artwork is, once again, sunshine for my soul. Thank you so much for sharing your gift. Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Cat.

Hey I do believe I just heard thunder. It was 50 degrees here today, and sunny. I saw my first robin. Ha! He was waiting on the rain. They will be happy and singing in the morning. :)
Hi Dianne, we haven't got such nice weather as you have, yet, but it is warming up here. We have a whole lot of snow that has to melt before it will really be nice here. I saw a flock of geese a couple of days ago, and hope they do fine, also hope they find food.
ReplyDeleteHorst they are georgeous. Works or art that should be display in a gallery and on someones wall. You should enter these in a gallery. Wonderful artistic work.
ReplyDeleteAt the UofA Hospital they have photos that people put up and on display and also that the Muttart. Maybe even the Devoian gardens. Worth a shot and you Im sure would sell these.
Outstanding work.
The first is very soft and would look so wonderful in the right light. I like it alot.

ReplyDeleteArlene, yes I did Archery for 30 years, and still have all of my Archery gear. I would love to do some more shooting but my hip says no.
