Today I have another blog to do with my Amaryllis. I took photos over the last week as my Amaryllis was opening, basically to show you how it slowly opens up. Once it is fully opens I will have a final Image for you. It is always fun to see such a showy flower opening and so sad to see it finally fade when it is finished blooming, but that won’t be for another 2 weeks. Here is the series of photos that I took for all of you to see. I hope you all will enjoy the photos.
OH yes, I do enjoy these. And beautifully captured too..as always, Horst.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThankyou Beth and Carole, much appreciated. I still have some photos to come, when the flowers are fully open, in the next day or 2.
ReplyDeleteOh these are great photos Horst. The flowers are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are Beautiful Horst, and I like how you showed the different stages until they finally came into bloom.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well out there in the West. Thank you for sharing your Beautiful Flowers.
Dianne :)
Such a lovely flower Horst, and beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteI just had a setback this morning, my mother Amaryllis plants 2 flower stalks, had fallen over. The flowers are to heavy for the stalks. I pulled them back up, they did not break so I may still get them to fully bloom, cross my fingers. They are propped up right now. Last year the stalks broke off.
ReplyDeleteWow what a super display of timeline photography, what beautiful delicate flowers they are, Lovely, PS thanks for visiting, and yes it IS a baby hedgehog, I thought it looked sleepy , therefore seemed apt for the post. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos perfectly timed as we step into March and spring is ever closer. Refreshing to see the greenery of plantlife coming to life in this way. I hope your fallen ones are none the worse for their experience and bloom in all their glory :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you've had success with the plants that fell over.,then you can add paramedic to your list of accomplishments.
