By now your are probably getting sick of seeing Amaryllis photos, but I don’t have to much else right now, to talk about. These Amaryllis are so nice to see, with the cold outside right now. It is sunny today but it is also –16C, so it is very nice to have a plant the is ready to flower. Well here are some photos for those that are interested.
This pod belongs to the clone baby below.
Here you can see the new pod pushing up between the leaves, these are amazing plants.
This one is from the mother plant. It won’t be long before the flowers come out. I will be posting more photos as the flowers start to open.
I am looking forward to seeing the plant in flower.
ReplyDeleteIt won't be long now Beth, althought I already have some great photos of the flowers from other years.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it as well. I have watched these since their inception. :-)
ReplyDeleteNot a new do..that was couple of months ago, Just maintainance today. :-)
Hey Carole, I think I will put up a couple of studio stobes, so I can take some awesome shots of the flowers. I am already getting excited about the photo shoot. Did you know that it will be daylight savings in 2 weeks (March 13, 2011).
ReplyDeleteHello Horst! I changed my web site so maybe you'll like it better. I used to grow these plants all of the time and they are so cool! You have a green thumb my friend and your flowers are beautiful! Take care and it's Friday so the weekend is here! Have fun, hugs! ♥
