Looking for Spring in my Archives

Hello again, I have been looking through my Archives and found this, it is a photo of my Spring Lilac flowers just starting to show color and it would be about a week before opening. Here is the Image I made a year or three ago.

                  Lilac spring2

Then I thought maybe I will try to make it look a little different or even better, you be the judge.

             Spring Lilac 3

It is so much fun to create with Adobe Photoshop CS3, I’m sure one can do just as well with Elements

  2. Horst, that is fantastic digital art. If you wouldn't tell that you worked with Photoshop I would think of these images that they are paintings on a canvas. I even can't tell what image I like the most. They are very different. In the first image lilac is modest and very delicate. In the second image lilac soon will be in it's full glory.

    Beautiful imagination!!!!!

    You have a talent, Horst!

  3. They are basicly the same image, the bottom one is cropped a little and then the digital brushwork is added. This is where imagination comes in. Imagination is very important in photography and in digital creation.

  13. If I would not know that those were photos, I'd thought they are paintings. Amazing work! These photos should be in an art gallery.

  15. I like the first one, but isn't Photoshop and other programs like it so much fun? And also so hard to choose which one to go with! Lol! I thought I already commented on this but if I did I'm not seeing it. I love lilacs they are beautiful, easy to cut for indoors and smell heavenly! I miss gardening a lot as I haven't had a place to garden since 1998. I love to grow both vegetibles and flowers. I used to grow marigolds and flowers in my veggie garden that bugs like and it keeps them away from eatting on my veggies. I used to grow organic (which is the best way.) TGIF and I hope your weekend is good! XOXO ♥
