Some Spring Photos

Today I went out for a few minutes and photographed some Spring Lilacs, the smell was intoxicating. It was just fantastic, we have many Lilac bushes in my Condo complex. When the Lilacs are blooming it fills the air with the wonderful scent. I wish I could can that lovely aroma, it’s like heaven. So here are some images of the Lilacs and you can imagine that wonderful scent.

    The lilacs are lovely Horst. The lilacs here bloomed several weeks ago.

    Wow Horst, these are amazing! I have no idea how you take a photo and make it look like a painting but however you do it I LOVE it! Have a fantastic weekend, I hear we're supposed to have some beautiful weather coming our way. Oh and the smell of lilacs is heavenly, I only wish that lilac season lasted longer!

    This reminds me of when I was a kid and would ride my bike around our small town. Seemed like everyone had a lilac bush and the smell was so springy! Thanks for the reminder Horst.

    Horst, these are fantastic pictures of lilacs. And then you turn them into paintings on a canvas. Unbelievable and beautiful!!!!

    I tried to take pictures of pink lilacs and wasn't successful.

    It's not hard to photograph Lilacs, actually it's easy. It's what you do with the image after you have photographed it.

    Kaya, send me one of your best Lilac photos, I'll see what I can do with it and I will let you know what I have done.

    Oh Horst...Spring is arrived where you are. No more piled high snow..no more ice and winds. The lilacs (I love them too) are so beautifully done here.

    These lilacs that you have presented for us are truly beautiful. I love your treatment of them. It does them honor. Nature doesn't mind one bit. :-)))
