Hi everyone, I am posting my first video, the actual video is not very good and it is shaky. My first attempt at movie making is not that bad. So here is my first video and movie that I tried just for you all. Let me know what you think. Good or Bad. I need some good constructive criticism.
Lovely, Horst, I do like videos that have stills as well, To be honest, it was just a little shakey,( sorry but you did ask, hope I have phrased that nicely) it is hard to pan and keep a camera steady, do you have a neck strap, shoulder holder, or a tripod with pan and tilt? But the titles, attribution, the way the photos rolled or slid to the next one, and music all so well done, So I'd say very good indeed. .And for those of us who live elsewhere, your voice in the background , that made it so special. (p.s. I love your soft accent!!).And hope to hear more next time. It takes a lot of work to edit, put onto Youtube, get back and post. Lots of cheers to you, Jean.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jean, I didn't know I had an accent. Now is it a Canadian Accent or a German Accent? Yes, the video is a lot shaky, but it was my first try free hand. I have a tripod but I wasn't thinking of taking video's that day, just thought I'd give it a try.
DeleteExcellent I can't hand hold for video.
ReplyDeleteThanks Adrian, I noticed how awesome your last video was. Do you have Windows 7 or 8. Have a look to see if you have Movie Maker and give it a try.
DeleteOh well done Horst. It was lovely to hear your voice, and the video was excellent for a first try. But the whole piece was well crafted, and how the heck did you get music playing on the vid as well, and what about those credits! A good all round job. Look forward to seeing more vids posted from you.
ReplyDeleteHi Vera, I used Windows Movie Maker, it came with Windows 8. I found it very easy to use. It was great fun working with it. I believe Windows 7 has it as well. The next video will be much better as I will carry my tripod with me at all times. I may even buy a lighter one in a few months.
DeleteI LOVED hearing your voice and you sound like a Canadian in the little I got to hear. Having lived in Germany quite a while I have a good ear for the accent. I will look forward to more and more videos. Fun to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteHi Carole, I plan to take videos at every shoot that I good to. It was fun putting the video together. I hope you have as much fun with your photography endeavors. I hope you take a good amount of photo this year, will have to visit your Flickr site and have a good look see.
DeleteIt's always such a surprise to hear someones voice you have know only through writing and photos for years. I have done a few photo slide shows and a few videos as well. I so love the creative aspect of putting a slideshow together with music. Just very time consuming. You did very well for your first one. Can't wait to see what you have for us next. Happy Spring to you...
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you as well Carrie. I'm going to have lots of fun this summer with all the photography and videography I will be doing. Can't wait for it to warm up.
DeleteWell done Horst a little shaky but not bad at all. I loved your accent , it's great hearing your voice for the first time.
ReplyDeleteHope you have another bash at it soon. I think you have some very pretty Garden'S where you live.
Have a great week, hope you doing well with the hip.
Sheila oh and Happy Spring
You will get more videos this summer so you can hear my voice again.
DeleteHappy Spring.
ReplyDeleteLovely work with your camera. I have been to a few blogs today and each one is so different in what we take photos off or vids.. I used my iphone for the ocean and so glad I did. Came home with a beautiful memory.
Hi Lisa, thanks for stopping by. The camera on my phone is too small to make good videos of. I like the video feature on my Canon camera. Will take more videos when it gets a little warmer.
DeleteHi Horst - it was amazing to hear your voice for the first time! I enjoyed the video. A little shaky as you say, but the pictures of the flowers were lovely. I thought you were going to take us around the garden on video. It would be nice if you can have the words all at the end maybe, not interspersed through the clip, and maybe running over the top of a pic or colour, not black. Anyway, nice. I think I should give this a go too for my travel posts.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by my blog.
Hi Jill, this was my first time with video, I still have to shoot more and get more videos under my belt. We still have frost at night here but it is quickly getting to be spring in my part of the world. Right now it is quite dirty and various shades of black and brown. I do see some tulips starting to poke out of the ground in the back yard, so it won't be to much longer and we will start to get some green out side.
DeleteHappy Easter my good friend!
ReplyDeleteExcellent, I can't criticise as I've never done a video with my camera, have done it with my cam corder though. I too loved your voice, very soft. When I've video'd I'm taken aback by how Scottish I sound. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing Arlene, you are Scottish. That's why you sound that way. One of my followers said I had an Accent, I thought German at first then I realized she meant my Canadian Accent.
DeleteSadly I cannot watch as our flaming connection is so slow - the joys of living in the country!!! Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteΤα συγχαρητήρια μου αγαπητέ μου φίλε!!!
