Hello everyone, I haven’t been posting much stuff lately. I am getting ready for a hip replacement. I have been doing things like cleaning my house, well, with a heck of a lot of help. My good friend Yvonne, has cleaned my very dirty kitchen, and did a very fantastic job of it. Also my nephews wife, Lori has cleaned all of my upstairs, awesome job of cleaning. I have cleaned a little of my living room, still a little bit to go. Most of my time has gone to running around and doing different appointments and then getting things like my hip kit, and a thingy to raise my toilet seat, also a kind of railing around my toilet. Then I also had to get crutches. a walker, 4 inch high cushions to raise my chair height. I won’t be able to use chairs with wheels on them. I also had to raise my bed. Now all I have to do is pay my bills, and then I am ready to go. Well enough chatter, here is a few photos for you to look at.
Horst, your photos are a work of Art, and Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI wish you well with your hip surgery, and I will say a prayer for you. I pray that all goes well and you have a quick recovery.

Stunning photos Horst!
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you with your surgery, please post again once you're able to. I'll keep you in my prayers and wish you a speedy recovery! That's fantastic you've had help already, I hope you have help lined up for once you're back home again. Take care and God bless!
These are beautiful.............Good luck with the hip.
ReplyDeleteSuperb Horst.
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy. Hope all goes well.
Love those two photos, especially the second one - I think that it captures the struggle for life, of nature pushing and winning through. And I hope your coming hip op goes well. My mum, who is considerably older than you, had both hips done six months apart. She got better. She is well. She continues on. And it looks like you have a good support network of people who help you, who care for you, who want you to be well.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you post some of your work up. Thankyou as well for the helpful hints you have been posting on my blog - I now put the chicks onto boiled egg as soon as they are hatched, but haven't managed to convince Lester to put the strong willed ewe on a leash! God bless you, and I shall send out my thoughts and prayers for you. x
Happy to hear you have help and support. I pray all goes well for you Horst. Sounds like you got all prepared. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see your new post, Horst.
ReplyDeleteThis art is so beautiful. Yes, what you can do with Photoshop is amazing.
You are in my prayers and my thoughts, dear Horst. I am awaiting when the process of healing will take place. And it will be soon.
Greetings from Kaya.
Wow...Magnificent pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job Horst!
ReplyDeleteHorst as always such a wonderful job you have done with these lilacs. May all go well with the hip transplant. Take Care Hugs Carrie
ReplyDeleteHorst, I read what you expect. I'm sure everything will be fine. My colleague at my age was on the hip joint before and never again walk without a cane and even went with her family to the mountains. I keep my fingers crossed for you good luck and I hope that everything will. I wish you much healing. Thank you for all the nice pictures in your blog. That's not normal photos, but it's art. Many greetings sends you Peter.
ReplyDeleteI love these Horst... lovely images.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for sharing.
You have been busy! I wish you all the very best for your forthcoming operation, we will all be thinking of you! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome images :) And good luck with your op...I know a couple of people who recently (ish) had hip replacements...both say it's given them a whole new lease of life and one is going back in to get the other hip replaced soon. All the best!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always Horst, there is just something about the way you do your photos that I enjoy very much! Wow! So you are having your hip replaced. Good luck on that and it seems you are doing all of the right stuff. I need both knees redone (which is why I'm disabled). I had only one bad knee, but using a cane just caused the other one to follow suit. I can't make my mind up whether to get one or both done at once. I have an old friend from my home town who has had both done just last week. I plan on calling her after she feels better and ask her how it's going. I can't imagine doing two knees at once! Even with one I don't have anyone to help me afterwards so it's a hard decision. I'm just sorry you are having to go through this but the replacements are so much better now so I feel better about it then I used to. Lol! When are you having it done? Like Zia said, the replacements are really good now and when I have mine I'll be able to walk normally again. Take care and a big hug for you! ♥
ReplyDeleteGood luck again with your hip and you are so good you probably have awards up the wazoo, but I'm expressing how I feel about you and your work anyway! Congratulations you should visit my site and pick up your blog award. I am passing on the "sunshine award" to you and 9 others on my newest blog. Just copy the instructions on my blog to get your award so you can put it on your site to show it off. I also have linked back to your site on my blog so everyone will be able to get to get to know you. Each person who receives this is asked to pass it on to 10 of your favorite bloggers (or not) but I feel we should pass on the sunshine. Take care! ♥
ReplyDeleteHi, I have awarded your blogspot a Sunshine Award, please pop over to my space to collect it :) x
ReplyDeleteGood luck Horst with your hip op hope all works out ok for you. That is something I to have to look forward to one day, as I had an xray and doesn't look too good. Beautiful work the colours are so very pretty. Sheila :)x
ReplyDeleteHello, Horst, long time , no hear, but nonetheless, I'm thinking of you, and wish you well with your surgery. Blessed be, don't be a stranger, eh? Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteHorst you have been on my mind (yes, it IS true) very much these past two days. I remembered about when the surgery was going to take place and I hope that someone is there to assist! I wish I could assist. I know I can't and it's foolish to even say it but still..I wish.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are able, please update as to your progress and how you feel. xxoo
Beautiful photos! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Some periods of life just are not easy.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone, I am back now and on the mend. Will give you more as I get more mobile. I am not having problem with stairs so I am doing very good with them, The physio is going well and that is the first thing they had me do to see if I can climb stairs. After the first try out they said that I am very strong and have no problem with them. They checked me out on them 3 times and said I have a big pass. Thalk with you all later.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful Horst!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and hope all is still going well.
Thank you for your sweet comment on my Triathlon post!
