Hello everyone, I have at long last taken a few photos of my White Amaryllis. I have tried for a while to take the photos, but I have friends and relatives that have wanted some of my time, ah lets face it, I procrastinated, I finally got the photos done before to many of the blooms withered away. Two stalks of the blooms I could not use because of withering. I had to put the flowers in a large vase that I have and guess what, the vase is white. The photos still look quite good so I will show you right now. It took me the whole day to set up for a few photos. I am feeling my hip right now, I need to eat and take some meds. Take care and I hope you like the Photos.
The photos are beautiful Horst!!

DeleteHorst these are beautiful, the white vase if perfect for the white flowers I think; it doesn't distract the eye from the beauty of the flowers.
ReplyDeleteFantastic job! I hope you're planning on taking a day of rest now if you're hip is sore. We can only give so much before we have to put the brakes on and look after ourselves.
Have a good week.
Darlin, the problem with arthritis is the more you rest the worse it gets. I have to balance rest with moving around.
DeleteBeautiful Horst, just beautiful. I do hope your hip is not too sore, and that you are in good spirits.

DeleteHorst, that picture at the top of your blog, I love it. Is it the glass pyramid that belongs to that museum in Washington? If not, what? Despite the white, the flowers look wonderful! The fruit gives it just the right touch. You have a beautiful mind to be able to do this work. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Bekkie, no the Header photo is of the Pyramids here in Edmonton, there are 4 of them clustered together. These are the Mattart's Conservatory buildings they have all kinds of plants and flowers in them. Right now they are having, The Orchid Show, in one of them.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely Horst , hope you are still enjoying your visits to that lovely Garden Centre.
ReplyDeleteAll the very Best
Sheila
