Hello everyone, well a few weeks ago I promised I would show you the blooms of the amaryllis that was about to bloom. This Amaryllis is a beautiful Red, it has 4 blossoms that are just beautiful. There is just one that has not opened yet, and I will photograph the flower again when it is completely open. I wonder if I will have any more Amaryllis blooming, Hark I have 7 more White Amaryllis shooting up flower pods, this will be something when they start to open. Maybe I can get Darlin to help me photograph them when they are ready. Oh Darlin, will you help me with these photos when they are ready? Let me know, Ok. Well here are some Amaryllis flowers I took photos of in the last 4 days.
I hope you like the photos.

DeleteWonderful pics, Horst ... my amaryllis is still small and has not openend yet ... wonder what colour the blooms will be ... even my husband is excited about it ... he simply calls it "the Plant" and checks up on it every day, when I'm away working :)
ReplyDeleteThey are great plants, your husband will love the blooms, they are very showy. I hope you love the flowers as much as I do.
DeleteI am not sure that I have ever seen an Amaryllis that is quite such a dark red as this, beautiful. Also love the header. Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteI guess it all depends on the lighting, this plant seems to be a little darker than the other red plants I have. Have a great day Diane.

DeleteThat softening of the flowers you do is one of your signatures. I have tried my hand at Photoshop and photos and you make it look so effortless. I always end up with a mess on my hands. Tee hee! How many generations of seeds do you think you have produced now?
ReplyDeleteHorst, Amarylis is really beautiful. This color I have never seen. Nice footgrafie that emphasize the beauty of plants. Thank you for your visit and wish you good health and joy of flowers.
