Snow, Lots of Snow

Well, I thought Spring was here, but mother nature always has surprises for us mortals. This snow storm has come up from Montana, USA. More than likely the snow will be gone in a week, even though we don’t want any more snow, we still need moisture and this is good moisture that will soak in slowly. Here are a couple of photos to show you that winter is not gone as yet.

  12. It's the typical spring storm and you're right we could get some more before it's all done. We had about the same thing in Red Deer.

  13. Lovely photos Horst. Loved the splash of colours in them, gave the feeling that although it is snowing, that the vibrancy of spring is just around the corner.

  14. I'd heard that you got snow back home, you can be grateful though, we had an earthquake last night that registered at 6.1, it sure scared me! Have a good week and you're right, this snow will be gone in no time at all... hopefully! :-)

  16. Snow at this time is like fertilizer for fields and gardens. At this time in our country often snow falls. This year is very dry spring and warmth. The weather is somehow reversed. Sincerely Yours, Peter.

  32. Such a peaceful, serene header horst and I love the pleated light green leaves in the foreground. Nature is fickle, you can't go packing away the winter clothing yet a while by the looks of it; brrrr.
