Today I took a few images of the birds that frequent my feeder. Most of them are Sparrows and they hog the feeder until all the seeds are done. Some other birds come closer to dusk and dawn, as most of the Sparrows are not around at that time. I think these are Timberline Sparrows but I could be wrong. If I get any different types of birds I will post them as I photograph them. So here are some Sparrow photos.
Yours are prettier than ours. SNOW?!?!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Horst. I love even the little sparrow. They have their own beauty.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Horst. How long have you had snow?
ReplyDeleteAwwww! They are fantastic photos and those sparrows are so cute! Could hug them all up and give them a big wolfie cuddle!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe started to get snow on Tuesday, it started very lightly and got heavier yesterday. It really snowed overnight and quit snowing about noon today. It also got colder as the snow got deeper, it is -16C right now and going to -21 overnight. I'm thinking of plugihng my car in tonight.
ReplyDeleteThey are so much like our House Sparrows Horst.
ReplyDeleteAlways chirpy little visitors.
Snow and -21? Brrrr, winter has arrived for you already.
Yup, winter has arrived, it will be like this until March or maybe April. Keith they may very well be House Sparrows. My bird book dosn't show House Sparrows.
ReplyDeleteDon't ever stop taking pics, Horst, they are good for the soul...thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteIn the winter the birds find it difficult to eat,so it is good that we feed them to.
ReplyDeleteThank you Horst. (((HUGS)))
