Another Round of Chick a Dee’s

I was able to get a few more shots of the Chick a Dee’s but the light was fading fast, so I only got a couple.

  1. Yes they are, and hard to photograph as well.

  2. Nice shots, Horst. I find the hardest thing when photogaphing Chick A Dees, is to get the catch eye because of the black band on their heads. It is always a challenge.
Hope all is well in the west. We still don't have snow here in my part of Ontario, but may have some by the weekend. Take care, and stay warm. Dianne :)

  8. Hi Keith, yes, I did notice that they are very simular to your Coal Tits, when I looked through your photos.

  9. That's very interesting feeder. Those are the only birds who are hanging around right now. The old cow has quieted down but can't seem to get her to move down the road. Everytime we try she darts of in some willows. WE still have our friends calves here which gives the old girl company but now she won't leave. thanks for stopping in always nice to have old friends around when I am not feeling so good. But feeling much better now. The temps have also warmed up considerable. Just spending the whole day trying to catch up with visiting everyone here. Can go weeks sometimes before I get a chance. Take Care Hugs Carrie

  10. They've eaten about all the food. I know they're grateful for it. It made me go look and sure enough, mine needed some more seeds too. I will have to post a few of their pictures thou I mostly have Finches.

  11. They are one of my favorite birds. When it's a dark, cold winter day, I can always count of a chick-a-dee to cheer me up. Good pictures of some quick little birds.
