As I was in the garden today I was thinking that I should get some photos, well I decided to take some photos of the Pansy, one of my favorite plants. I tried to start them from seed but no luck, so I saw some at the garden center and I had to have at least one. I chose a great color, so here are some photos that I took. You may like them or you may not like them. Let me know either way.
well I totally adore pansies too; very yester-year and nostalgic and an ongoing winner in the floral stakes. Your photographs and art beautiful Horst.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots Horst, your processing is beautiful as always.
ReplyDeletePansies are one of my favourite flowers as well, and I loved your photos of them, particularly the last one. I always think that pansies look full of character, as if they are just about to talk to me!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I love these beautiful violets. They are my favorites and you photographed them so wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your Photoshop art. Very beautiful!!!
I like them, good choice in colors..
ReplyDeleteI had some last growing season, they did very well.
Cheers.
Horst I don't like these photos, I LOVE them! You did an amazing job with these, it's great to see some of your shots again and the color of this pansy is beautiful, awesome choice.
ReplyDeleteI love pansies and violets..wild violets. I so look forward to them every early spring. Do you have any?
ReplyDeleteI understand that Violets are just Pansy's, will have to check that out. I have seen wild flowers that resemble pansy's or Violets, but are very small flowers (wild ones), around Edmonton.
DeleteThere is a difference between Viola (Violettas) and Pansy's, for me they look similar. Either way, they are both lovely flowers. There is an African Violet that is from a completely different Genius.
DeleteIt was very nice pictures you have here :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Mimmi.
DeleteThey are all beautiful, especially thr first. /Susanne
ReplyDeleteThanks Susanne, I like the first one the best as well.
DeleteReally lovely pics Horst!! We have them early to plant because they can stay in some frosty nights. We have som wild ones to of them but they are really small.
ReplyDeleteI just planted another color Pansy but I think it is a Viola (no face on the flower, all one color).
DeleteHello again :)
ReplyDeleteI hope all is well with you :)
