This time of year I go to the Garden centers for the display area. There are all kinds of little nooks and cranny’s that can give me a great photo. This year the display was not as elaborate as last year. The theme was a brand new landscape as would be installed in a new building site. To me it had to much grass, but that is only my opinion. I did get a fair amount of photos from this years visit, Tomorrow the display will be dismantled and then be sold off this coming weekend. I will have to go visit another Garden center and get some more photos. Here are a few photos for you to look at.
Lovely pictures with very nice colors....good work Horst.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
Bye, Joop
Beautiful garden Horst...you're right in that we will never be able to afford things like nice cars .. but we can dream about having such a car ... it does not cost to dream =D..Have a nice day
ReplyDeleteAnd I wouldn't be able to afford such a nice garden as the display shows in my blog.
DeletePreciosas fotografías Horst es un gusto poder disfrutar de tus visitas a los centros de jardineria.. Buen día y a disfrutar.. Un abrazo
ReplyDeleteThanks Mercedes, and a hug to you as well.
DeleteBeautiful pictures Horst. Very nice job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth.
DeleteThat is a great place for photos, the lighting & colors are abundant!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures..
Oh Horst, you have certainly done these grasses justice, so beautifully arranged I love the almost transparent effect of the pale green, or is it yellow tropicals in the last picture 10/10
ReplyDeleteThanks Arlene, but the arrangement is all from the greenhouse staff. I just took the photos.
DeleteNo Horst, not 'JUST' took the photos you did 'justice' to them.
DeleteHorst this gives me some ideas for my unfinished patio! I love your shots... yay, when the greenhouses have the plants coming out that means spring is just around the corner back home!! Have a fantastic day!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your header photo as well, now that's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Darlin. I can't wait till I can plant some of my plants, but the weather tells me I have to wait.
DeleteGreat shots Horst, and a great idea shooting greenhouse displays. The last shot hit a chord with me, I heard the condo gardener out back working in our back yard so went to see what he had done and was blown away at the changes he made. He removed an old dying banana plant and some ragged ferns and completely cleaned up and redesigned the plant bed along the back of our patio. When the plants are bigger the area will look very much like your last shot does. My only regret is that my spanish was not up to the task of telling him just how much I liked the job he'd done. But I bet my smiles and attempt got the message across...
ReplyDeleteHey Scott, where else can one find such great plants and ideas for the garden.
DeleteThese are wonderful Horst.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to be with a camera!!
Thanks Lisa.
DeleteGreen and lovely photos! The last year it has became very popular with different types of grass in the garden :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice display, and beautiful compositions Horst. I am glad I came by to see your work and play.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well and Spring has finally arrived.
Thank you for stopping by to my Backyard Cafe. I have to say that it isn't as pretty as your beautiful display of plants and flowers, but they are all beautiful in their own way.
Have a great week Horst and I will have to check back for more of your work on display.
Dianne :)
Horst, thanks for your recent visit. I'm looking forward to some more garden photos..

ReplyDeleteBrilliant compositions, a variety of plants, lovely garden!
many greetings
You'll have to go back for the sale :)
ReplyDeleteYou're making me eager to plant. We were teased with a mild winter and early spring - we even had to mow the lawn already - but I know how the weather can be here, so no planting yet for me - sure enough, we had 8 inches of snow on Monday!
Hey Tammy, I don't need any of what they had on sale. I will get a few things but not very much.
DeleteHorst, you captured these stunning displays so beautifully! The various green colors and lushness of the plants are so very appealing. Fantastic photographs!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, I have to admit that the light in the display area of the green house is very good. The camera I have also does a great job. Most of all, I have 38 years of professional experience in photography, both in photography and lab work. Thanks for your awesome comment, I think my head is getting bigger,Oh my. ;-)
DeleteLovely photos :) I especially liked the 2nd one, something about it really appeals to the Wolfie eye and the spring green shades instantly make me feel closer to the Earth and the beauty of nature :) Look forward to your next garden centre! Take care Horst and be well :)
ReplyDeleteHello Horst, What beautiful photos... Hope your weekend will be the best ever dear friend... hugs
